Reject Unqualified Candidates

How To Make a Good Test

When creating a test, make sure it enables you to accurately assess the candidate’s:

1. Language proficiency
2. Copywriting skills
3. Social media marketing knowledge

A good test strikes the perfect balance between thoroughness and the writer’s willingness to complete it. You shouldn’t expect your candidates to write copy for a dozen different ads or social media posts. Keep in mind that you’re asking them to complete a task in exchange for a job offer they might not get.

Interviewing Candidates

Once a candidate submits the test, their status will change to Test Complete. If you’re happy with the quality of work they submitted, you can change their status to Interview Candidate. The candidate will automatically receive an email with a Calendly link, so they can schedule a Zoom meeting. 

If, on the other hand, they fail the test, you can reject the candidate by updating their status to Reject Candidate. This will trigger an automated email thanking them for their time.
