Why You Need To Be Super-Specific in Your SEO Analyst Job Description
If you want to get only the top-tier candidates to apply for your job ad, you need to write a job description that is detailed and tailored to your company’s needs. Make sure to list the necessary SEO experience, knowledge of SEO tools your company relies on, and other relevant knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in the role.
If you do this right, you will discourage individuals without proper qualifications from applying. Writing a super-specific job ad will save you a ton of valuable time, since you’ll review less applications, but most of them will be from candidates that are a decent fit for your company. With a vague job ad, on the other hand, you’ll find yourself spending 2h+ a day reviewing dozens of resumes from people who lack core competencies for the role.
