Performance Management Analyst Job Description Template

We’re looking for a Performance Management Analyst to evaluate performance on a departmental and company level and suggest changes that will make our business more profitable and cost-efficient.

You will monitor and analyze the performance of different company functions, establish new key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments, and suggest improvements to the current business processes. You’ll be expected to identify and address any issues, risk factors, and inefficiencies in our business process, and propose solutions to maximize efficiency of [list relevant departments: Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Product Development, etc.] departments.

Your other duties will include conducting periodical performance analysis, and reporting the results to the department manager or board of directors.

You must have an analytical mind, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.  

Responsibilities

• Getting acquainted with our KPIs and establishing new ones as needed
• Tracking company-wide projects and goals and identifying inefficiencies in our processes
• Analyzing departmental and company-wide performance reports periodically and on-demand
• Comparing results of your analyses to company and departmental goals
• Determining the reasons for performance drops or stagnation
• Establishing new or suggesting improvements in existing departmental practices
• Training other staff members on accurate KPI reporting practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Statistics, or a related field
• 2 years of marketing or analytical experience
• Expert knowledge of document processing software (Google, Microsoft or Mac office suites), CRM software (such as SalesForce, Oracle NetSuite, and HubSpot CRM), and SQL
• Solid communication and project management skills
