One of the most important factors in a job description’s success is how specific it is. To make sure you’re being super specific in your job ad, start by evaluating your business needs. One of your first steps should be to talk to your marketing and social media personnel and find out what they will expect from the Social Media Copywriter.
The more exact you can be when describing the duties they will perform, the more effective the job description will be. Consider the following variables:
- Types of content you require
- Social media platforms you use
- Industry your business operates in
By narrowing down the expectations of the person you wish to hire for this position, you will most likely receive resumes from qualified candidates only, which means that you won’t have to spend hours assessing underqualified applicants.
