1. Start the Process
There are two ways you can begin the Dice job posting process. You can visit the login page to access your employer account, after which you can select Post a Job.
Alternatively, you can go to the homepage and select Post Jobs in the For Employers menu.
When you select a pricing plan, you’ll be asked to log in to your account or create a new one. If you’re creating a new account, you’ll need to provide company and billing information.
Once you’ve logged in and made a purchase, you’ll gain access to the Post a Job form, which consists of 11 different sections. The sections are as follows:
Job title—Try to be concise and specific with your job title so that applicants immediately know what employee profile you’re looking for. Dice advises using around 20 characters
Job location—You need to add the location of your company (city, state, and ZIP code). If you want to offer a remote job, enter the location of the office and check the “Work from home available” option

Travel requirements—The form has a drop-down menu to specify any travel requirements you have. You can select working from home if you allow your employees to work remotely (fully or a selected number of days per week)
Job description—Your job description should go into detail about the requirements and responsibilities of the job you’re offering. Try to be as specific as possible to provide a clear idea of your expectations and limit the number of unwanted applications. Skills—You can list the minimum skills and education candidates need to have to be considered for the position
Contact information—This section is filled out automatically with the information from your profile. You can select what information is displayed
Via Dice plus Email—Use Dice’s built-in ATS (applications will go to your email address)
Via URL—Add a URL to redirect applicants to an external website
Screener questions—If you select “Via Dice plus Email,” you can choose screener questions to prescreen applicants on their soft and hard skills
Application response—You can create a custom response email that’s sent to applicants automatically. If not, Dice will send a standard response template
Once you fill out all the necessary fields, you’ll be able to choose one of the following options:
Post as Active—Your job ad will show up on the job board within 30 minutes, and jobseekers will be able to apply
Save as Inactive—The platform saves the information you’ve provided, but it doesn’t make it live until you choose to do so
Preview—This allows you to see how your job ad will display to jobseekers so that you can make adjustments
