Digital and Multiplatform Content Writer Job Description Template
We are looking for a competent Digital and Multiplatform Content Writer for our digital marketing campaigns. You will be in charge of creating a wide variety of content across a number of marketing channels, such as our website, social media platforms, and email.
You will be working on various types of content, including articles, blog posts, landing pages, and newsletters. You’re expected to perform thorough research on each assigned topic by consulting various online sources. Before submitting your work, you will need to proofread it to ensure that it adheres to our style guidelines. We also expect you to revise your work to implement Editors’ feedback and rewrite old content when needed.
Basic SEO knowledge is necessary for this position. Experience in using content management systems, such as WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla, is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Write engaging, informative, and factually and grammatically correct content for various marketing channels (including website, email, and social media) in accordance with the best SEO practices
- Research industry-related topics by reading online sources, studies, and interviews
- Proofread the articles you write before submitting them
- Ensure that your content aligns with our brand image and follows our style guidelines
- Implement Editors’ feedback
- Review and rewrite old content if necessary to ensure the provided info is up to date
- Occasionally work with other marketing departments, such as web and graphic design, to select the best visual materials
Requirements
- Prior work experience in a similar position
- Excellent grasp of grammar, syntax, and spelling
- Working knowledge of social media management and digital content marketing
- Good time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Google Docs or Microsoft Word
- Experience using content management systems (WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal) is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, or a related field
