Writing Consultant Job Description Template
We are looking for a Writing Consultant who can join our content team. Your primary responsibilities will include working with Writers to enhance their writing and self-editing skills. You will prepare and conduct training and workshops for writers to cover different writing styles and SEO best practices. You will also be responsible for providing regular feedback to Writers regarding their drafts and reporting to the editing and management team.
Responsibilities
- Assist the content team throughout the writing process
- Provide one-on-one and group training sessions to all the Writers in the team
- Give insightful feedback regarding a Writer’s articles
- Answer questions about writing, editing, and research
- Organize workshops covering different writing styles and strategies
- Communicate with the management team and provide reports on Writers regularly
Requirements
- Degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or any related field
- Prior experience as a Writing Consultant is a must
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven track record of trainings and workshops
- Extensive knowledge of SEO best practices
