With QuickHR, you can manage your entire HR department, using features for payroll management, attendance, meeting scheduling, and performance appraisals. It also has an applicant tracking system (ATS), which will be the focus of our review.

QuickHR Key Features

When it comes to QuickHR’s ATS, it’s obvious it’s intended to be an additional feature rather than a standalone package. 

When posting a job ad, applications will appear in QuickHR’s database via CV parsing. You can automatically remove unqualified candidates from the database by using prescreening filters (like years of experience or minimum education level).

Once you hire someone, their documents will transfer automatically to your employee database. It’s worth noting that the ATS is available only in the most expensive plan.

While its ATS is an added functionality, QuickHR is primarily an HR software with which you can build an employee database that contains all the essential information for every employee. For example, you can store educational certificates, personal information, employment terms, deductions, and bonuses. The software also lets you track employees’ working hours in real time with timesheets and multiple clock-in devices.

One of the main attractions of the software is its payroll management. QuickHR automatically calculates attendance, leaves, claims, bonuses, and other elements of your payroll policy. All you have to do is get QuickHR to generate a payslip, review it, and submit it. The platform will send out payments and ensure they comply with Singaporean laws. You can use it for freelance, part-time, and full-time employees.

QuickHR Downsides

OuickHR’s ATS is not a fully developed solution and lacks many features that standalone tracking systems have. For instance, you can’t:

• Correspond with candidates automatically
• Create a careers page within QuickHR
• Have an external platform for candidates
• Use the software to follow the stage of the funnel each applicant is in

QuickHR is an excellent all-in-one HR tool, especially if you’re based in Singapore. If you’re not, you may struggle with the software. For example, since it follows local laws and tax regulations, you may have trouble issuing payslips in a different country because the software automatically filters in Central Provident Fund (CPF) regulations—a mandatory savings plan for Singaporean residents.

QuickHR lacks integrations with job boards to make job postings easier and automated if you use the software to hire new employees.

QuickHR offers a 14-day free trial to test out the software. During the trial, you can manage up to five employees. 

The page shows two prices for each plan. The discounted prices are periodic and offered to accounts with multiple organizations to their name. QuickHR’s terms and conditions regulate the eligibility for the discount. Even without the discount, the pricing model is highly competitive compared to other HR solutions based in the United States and Western Europe.
