Inrecruitingis an Italy-based applicant tracking system (ATS) that allows employers to automate posting job ads on various job boards, create a database of applicants, interview candidates, and make data-driven hiring decisions.
It’s a scalable platform that adapts to a customer’s needs. The company focuses on small- and mid-sized businesses and staffing agencies. Inrecruiting also offers a custom plan for enterprises.
In this review, we’ll show you how Inrecruiting works, what its drawbacks are, and what subscription plans it has. We’ll also introduce alternative ATSs for SMBs that can help you hire top candidates with more pre-hire assessment options.
Inrecruiting—Key Features
Inrecruiting automates your hiring process and enables you to keep track of each candidate’s progress. The platform guides you from the beginning phase of creating your career page to the moment you hire a new employee. It does so in five steps:
Creating a career page
Publishing job ads
Screening candidates
Choosing the best one
Making data-driven decisions
Create Your Career Page
When you create an Inrecruiting account, the first step is to create a career page for your company. It requires zero technical knowledge as the platform has a drag-and-drop editor that allows you to create a page to your liking easily. You can choose your corporate colors, present your employer brand, and customize the graphics to match your company website.
The “Work with us” page allows you to integrate forms for all job vacancies and collect applications for separate funnels using the same page. When you use Inrecruiting to create a job ad, it will automatically appear on your company website.
Publish Job Posts
You can create a job post directly within Inrecruiting. Besides a job description and the title, you can add a section about your company, video presentations, and any other attachments you wish.
Once you create the ad, you can multipost it on 30+ job boards—both paid and free ones. All you need to do is select the job boards you wish to post on.
Applications from all job websites will show up in your Inrecruiting database instantly. You can customize your application forms to adapt applications for prescreening. The platform uses CV parsing to autofill sections of the registration form to speed up the process for candidates.
Screen Candidates
Inrecruiting creates a CV database that contains all the vital information such as CVs, evaluation forms, prescreening answers, and interview feedback. You can search the database using various search filters (advanced filters are unavailable in the introductory plan). The platform will rank CVs using AI to recommend the most suitable candidates.
If you’re interested to learn more about a candidate, you can click on their candidate profile with all the information stored in the database. The candidate can also access their profile page and update their data, post videos, and add portfolios.
You can communicate with candidates via email and SMS from within Inrecruiting.
Choose the Best Candidate
When you’re ready to proceed with a selected number of applicants, you can schedule interviews that will show up in your Outlook, Gmail, or iCloud calendar automatically. After the live interview, you can revisit it and watch candidates’ answers again as they’re stored on Inrecruiting.
For each candidate, you have an evaluation form and interview notes where you can grade an applicant and compare your score with other recruiting officers if you’re not doing it alone.
If you have an advanced plan, you can set up automatic feedback and update candidates on their application status, i.e., where they are in your hiring funnel.
Make Data-Driven Decisions
Inrecruiting lets you create reports that will help you optimize your hiring process. You can use it to monitor KPIs or see what job boards and social media perform the best for you.
Reporting also allows you to see the breakdown of your talent pool. In other words, you can see how many candidates are in each stage of your funnel, their degrees, ages, or experience levels.
Inrecruiting—Downsides
While its website is modern and runs smoothly, Inrecruiting has some issues with misinformation or, more precisely, information consistency. For example, on one page, the company claims it supports 8 languages, and on another, it mentions 11 languages. The same happens on the pricing page—it says the platform offers 11 languages but lists only 10.
When you get past that introductory stage and get to use the software, you won’t have much to moan about. One complaint is that its introductory plan, while competitively priced, is somewhat minimalistic. With it, you can’t set up automated correspondence, use advanced searching, create prescreening questionnaires, or have more than one job ad active simultaneously. If you’re serious about your hiring, you’ll need to pay for the second-tier plan at least.
Inrecruiting pre-hire assessments consist of interviews and a personality test. If you want to send written tests that will evaluate applicants’ practical skills and keep track of their scores, you’ll need to do it manually.
Inrecruiting—Integrations
Inrecruiting has integrated with 30+ job boards to let you distribute your job listing automatically without leaving the platform. The software also supports integrations with various productivity tools.
Some of the integrations you’ll find on Inrecruiting are:
Inrecruiting has four pricing plans that you can choose based on your number of employees and active jobs. The company offers a 14-day free trial with all features unlocked but limited to one active job. You can use the trial without giving your credit card information. After the trial is over, Inrecruiting saves your data for 30 days, during which you need to opt for a subscription or lose your database.
The pricing plans are as follows:
Espresso—€49 per month
Lungo—€189 per month
Cappuccino—€238 per month
Enterprise—Available upon contact
Note that the prices above are discounted for customers that opt for annual billing. The company doesn’t disclose prices for clients that want to pay monthly.
Check out the table below to see what each pricing plan offers.

Alternatives to Inrecruiting
If you don’t want to limit yourself to Inrecruiting’s assessment methods, you can choose from hundreds of other ATS solutions out there. Check out our other ATS reviews:
Workellois an ATS and pre-hire assessment software that focuses on hiring content team members but is equally efficient in finding employees in other industries and departments.
Written samples are the most efficient method of assessing candidates that might have impressive CVs and impeccable interview answers but deliver subpar work once hired. The software is made for SMBs looking to optimize processes for high-volume recruiting.
Workello also supports job ad distribution and creates a single database you can access from your dashboard. You can use Workello to send automated email messages, move candidates through the funnel, test them, interview them, and hire the best one. The platform also contains hundreds of job description templates and pre-written tests to accelerate the setup of your hiring funnel.
Unlike Inrecruiting, all of Workello’s features are available in the introductory plan. The difference between the two plans lies in the number of assessments and the billing period:
Growth—$299, billed quarterly (up to 30 assessments)
Scale—$579, billed annually (up to 300 assessments)

Summary
Inrecruiting is an easy-to-use platform that’s available in 10 languages. You can use it to distribute your job ads, create a database of applicants, and effortlessly move candidates through the funnel. It has advanced search filters and reporting capabilities to optimize your hiring process. You can use the software to schedule and conduct interviews.
Many of these features are unavailable in the introductory plan, and you’ll need to pay extra to unlock them. It also lacks job-related tests that will help you assess a candidate’s quality of work before hiring them.
If you need an ATS that will allow you to do that, sign up for Workello for free and start evaluating candidates to find the top 1%. You can set up your hiring funnel in under 3 minutes.
