Eddy—Key Features
When you start using Eddy’s ATS, the first order of business is setting up your careers page (if you don’t have one already). The platform has a careers page editor that lets you customize your page without any coding. If you already have a careers page in place, all you need to do is link it with your Eddy account, and the published job posts will show up automatically.
When it comes to publishing ads, Eddy has a convenient job-posting form that makes it easy to set up your job ad. You can use your custom job description or the template provided on the platform. Add prescreening questions and mandatory application fields to curate your application database and eliminate unqualified candidates instantly.
Once you have a job ad ready, you can distribute it to several job boards Eddy has integrated with. Regardless of where you sourced the candidate, all applications will appear in the same platform database. Using a simple drag-and-drop feature, you can move candidates within the pipeline and through different stages of your hiring funnel.
Eddy also supports automated messaging. Every stage of the funnel has a list of triggers (called actions), and you can add custom ones—such as an automated email informing the candidate about their status change.

Eddy—Downsides
When you look at online reviews, most of the cons listed relate to its payroll and employee management services. If you want to use Eddy for hiring only, you’ll have little to complain about.
One major downside is that it doesn’t support different assessment options. All you can do is schedule an interview. If you want to test someone’s job-related skills with a written test or a small project, you’ll have to set that up manually and write assessment notes outside of this platform.
Another general downside is that you’ll need some time to get accustomed to the software, especially if you’re unfamiliar with how ATS and HR platforms work.
