CVViZ—Key Features

If you want to integrate CVViZ’s AI into your ATS, you can pay only for that functionality ($25 per job) and use it for resume screening and candidate matching and ranking.

As for its ATS capabilities, CVViZ helps you create a careers page and a job post with ease. Once you publish a job position, you can automatically distribute it to various job boards (free and premium ones) within the platform. The platform will recommend which job boards you should use depending on the position. You can also use CVViZ’s Google Chrome plugin to import resumes from job boards’ databases and source passive talent.

As applications come your way, CVViZ uses AI to screen resumes and match the best candidates for the position. The more you use the platform, the more adapted AI gets to your needs. The algorithm also ranks candidates and lets you create a shortlist.

One of CVViZ’s most interesting functionalities is that it doesn’t discard your database once you fill a position. Instead, when you make a new job ad, the platform will instantly recommend fitting candidates from your existing talent pool.

With CVViZ, you can send bulk emails and use email templates to speed up the process, although the platform doesn’t support automated emails. It has an interview-scheduling feature and a built-in code editor so that you can watch developers code live during a test interview. 

CVViZ—Downsides

CVViZ doesn’t support automated email correspondence that would save time on needless back-and-forths with candidates. Without this feature, you risk losing a top-quality candidate because you forgot to send an email on time.

The platform imposes a limit of 2MB on CV uploads and 3,500 candidate profiles. This can be a problem if you run multiple job positions and try to create an extensive database for the software’s AI to match candidates.

You can’t use the ATS to set up automated assessments. The only assessment method it supports is dedicated to hiring coders (a code editor candidates can use during an interview). If you’re trying to fill a different position, you’ll have to assess applicants manually.

CVViZ lacks an external page that candidates can visit to learn about their application status and the next steps in your selection process. Without it, they resort to emailing recruiting officers with questions that your managers need to answer manually. Coupled with the lack of automated emails, the platform struggles to provide a great candidate experience. CVViZ would also benefit from adding different types of templates besides email templates.

CVViZ—Pricing

CVViZ offers a 14-day trial for each of its ATS-related pricing plans. If you want to integrate CVViZ’s AI into your candidate tracking solution, there is no trial, and you have to pay $25 per job position.

The company has four pricing plans:

1. Starter—$79 per month ($69 per month for an annual plan)
2. Basic—$129 per month ($109 per month for an annual plan)
3. Standard—$209 per month ($189 per month for an annual plan)
