#1 Staff

Staff is by far the most popular job board in Armenia, claiming to have a local market share of 80%. It’s been around since 2015, and today, it has over 300,000 visits per month and over 1,000 ads. The website has an English version, and about half of the ads are in English, making it suitable for foreign employers who don’t speak the local language. 

Staff partners with universities, communities and other organizations to bring your ad in front of a large number of qualified candidates. The most prevalent industries on Staff include engineering and IT, but it also features ads for a dozen other fields, such as business development, finance, sales, art, and design.

Staff Pricing and Features

There are various pricing plans to choose from, ranging from $129 for a single ad with limited features to $4,399 for 100 vacancies and the most advanced set of functionalities. However, keep in mind that the pricing is different for companies registered outside of Armenia, and the prices listed below pertain only to local companies.

All the plans from Staff’s “Small and Medium Packages” include a 30-day ad duration and access to Staff’s database of around 100,000 profiles. 

Apart from the number of live ads you get with different tiers, they don’t vary much regarding available features. For example, the price per published ad is the only difference between the first two plans (Single and Starter 3). And the only additional features you unlock with the two most expensive tiers are social media promotion and the ability to view contacts from Staff’s resume database (the Contact reveal), which typically come with even the basic plans in some competing platforms.

The value-for-money ratio is a bit better with the “Big Packages,” seeing that the most advanced plan, the Premium one, offers increased ad promotion and an array of employer branding options while reducing the price-per-ad to around $44.

Nearly all of the features you get with the plans above, such as front-page banner advertising, anonymous posting, and employer branding can be purchased separately. If you’re running on a tight budget and do not have that many vacancies, it might be best to go with the single ad and then pick the additional features you need. 

The price of Staff’s services is on the pricier side compared to its local competitors, even though the platform lacks some standard features, like job alerts, candidate management tools, ATS integration, and a free trial. Also, note that a tax number is required to register for the website, but it doesn’t have to be local.

#2 Worknet

Worknet is yet another big player among Armenia’s job boards, receiving around 71,000 visits a month and featuring over 4,500 ads. Despite having an English version, this website has fewer than 100 ads in English, which might indicate lower suitability for international recruiters.

Accessing Worknet’s database of over 14,000 candidate profiles is free, even for non-registered users. To contact any of the candidates you identify in the database, however, you’ll need to opt for one of the four monthly subscription plans:

1. Basic—4,800 AMD/month 
2. Standard—14,800 AMD/month 
3. Business—24,800 AMD/month 
4. Premium—48,800 AMD/month 

Choosing the Basic plan will get you one job posting a day, 15 candidate messages, and inclusion in the email job alerts. Other plans will allow more live posts and unlock advanced features, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram advertising and weekly resume selection.

Worknet’s platform is affordable and straightforward, but it has some drawbacks. For instance, although you can browse the database for free, most candidate profiles are incomplete, containing only the most basic information. There are no candidate management tools or ATS integration, which could be inconvenient for big companies looking to fill many vacancies.

#3 Job.am

Having been established back in 2001, Job.am is one of the oldest local job boards. It’s still going strong today, with over 56,000 monthly visits, 48,000 resumes in its database, and a successful mobile app. It’s available in English and Armenian, though it features few ads in English.

Job.am offers an array of features and pricing models to suit businesses of all sizes, the three main ones being:

1. Basic—21,900 AMD for one post  
2. Triple—59,900 AMD for three posts (paid annually) 
3. Value—89,900 AMD for five posts (paid annually)

The maximum ad duration is 30 days, and the expected approval time is one business day. Each plan comes with company pages, built-in ATS, social media promotion, statistics, and application questionnaires for candidate screening purposes. 

The Triple tier will get you features for increasing the exposure of your ads. Only by choosing the Value option will you be able to unlock the resume search feature for a month. If you opt for the Basic or Triple plan, you’ll be able to buy the resume search feature separately, which costs 13,900 AMD for five-day access.

They also offer pricing plans for companies with more extensive recruitment needs—Plus, Pro, Premium, Enterprise, and Custom. These will allow for 8+ postings and bring more exposure to your ads, longer resume search access (up to a year), and the ability to feature your logo on the homepage. 

Unfortunately, there’s no free trial for any of the plans, but the platform offers a Novice plan that lets first-time users explore the platform at a discounted price—32,850 AMD.

Job.am has an ATS that you can use to easily manage and filter resumes and applications, but it doesn’t support integration with external applicant tracking systems. Once you post an ad, you can’t edit it. 

#4 CareerCenter

Much like Worknet, CareerCenter has been in business for over 20 years, and with over 27,000 monthly visits, it’s one of the most successful job boards in Armenia today. It’s an excellent option for international businesses, as the website is available in Armenian, Russian, and English, and most of the ads are in English. 

You can post two types of single ads on CareerCenter:

1. Non-Privileged—26,500 AMD 
2. Privileged—83,100 AMD

What sets Privileged ads apart from the Non-Privileged is the ability to post vacancies:

• Urgently
• Anonymously
• Without soliciting any kind of payment on the jobseekers’ part
• In industries involving the production and sales of tobacco, alcohol, casino, lottery, and oil/gas 

If you’d like to advertise multiple vacancies, you can opt for one of the yearly subscription plans:

1. Basic (up to 5 ads)—105,500 AMD
2. Advanced (up to 20 ads)—392,000 AMD

To proactively search candidates, you can utilize CareerCenter’s resume search feature with advanced filtering options. It’s free to browse the database, but you’ll have to pay to contact candidates, which costs 9,900 AMD per profile. For an extra fee, you can also get complete headhunting services on this website.

Among CareerCenter’s downsides is the lack of a free posting option, ATS integration, social media distribution, candidate matching, and employer branding options. 

#5 JobFinder

JobFinder is a relatively new job board, which is probably why it’s not as popular as the other inclusions on this list. Still, the platform has partnered with some big international companies such as the British Council Armenia, UNICEF, and Coca-Cola, which speaks in favor of its credibility. The website is available in Russian, Armenian, and English, but most featured ads are in Armenian. Despite that, it is a valuable resource for businesses looking to source talent in Armenia.

There are four pricing plans you can choose from:

1. Basic—17,900 AMD per ad 
2. Gold (10 ads)—139,000 AMD per year
3. Platinum (25 ads)—269,000 AMD per year
4. VIP (unlimited ads)—459,000 AMD per year 

Posting an ad is simple—when you sign up and choose a package, you can select one of the templates and fill in the details. JobFinder will then perform a review and spell-check of each ad. Once live, the ad will be up for 30 days, after which you can repost it for 13,900 AMD. With one of the annual subscriptions (Gold, Platinum, or VIP), you can post multiple ads over a year and access the resume library.

Other features that JobFinder offers are a candidate management system where you can rate, shortlist candidates, and add notes, job alerts, job fair advertising, Google and Yahoo advertising, and RSS feed. 

Currently, JobFinder doesn’t allow for ATS integration and candidate matching. There’s also no free trial.
