#1 Jobindex
Founded in 1996, Jobindex is one of the oldest and most popular Danish job boards, with over 2 million monthly visits and 20,000 job ads. Given that the platform is available in English and features 1,500 ads written in English, it’s highly suitable for businesses sourcing talent internationally.
Whatever your company’s recruiting needs may be, you’ll most likely find a satisfactory solution on Jobindex—from simple job advertising to full recruitment process takeover and employer branding. There are also many add-ons to help you customize the service even further.
Jobindex Pricing and Features
As far as job advertising is concerned, Jobindex offers three pricing plans:
Profile ad Light—2,995 DKK + VAT
Profile ad Standard—4,995 DKK + VAT
Executive package—6,995 DKK + VAT
Source: Jobindex
The Light ad plan comes with one 4-week ad and the GDPR-compliant Quick Apply option. The Standard plan comes with the same set of benefits, with the addition of candidate search assistance and extension in case your ad doesn’t yield satisfactory results. The Executive Package is aimed toward high-level positions and will allow you to advertise on StepStone, a world-renowned job board.
Apart from job posting, Jobindex allows its registered users to browse its library of over 135,000 CVs for free. You only need to pay if you’re ready to contact the candidate. It offers both limited (up to 2,500 contacts) and unlimited plans for this feature, with a duration of 6 or 12 months.

If you require more assistance or extra features, there’s a list of various add-ons you can purchase. For instance, you can acquire:
Prominent front-page ad slots
Special ad layouts
Job description writing services
Candidate pre-selection services
Brand analysis
Robot scanning
For now, Jobindex doesn’t support ATS integration or ad reposting on other portals and social media, but its variety of features and transparent and reasonable pricing make it a worthwhile investment.
Pros
Cons
One of the most popular local job boards
Available in English
Wide range of features and add-ons
No ATS integration
No ad redistribution on social media and other portals
#2 JobNet
Despite being one of the most prominent Danish job boards, JobNet was created by the Swedish government’s Agency for Labor Market and Recruitment. It has over 2 million visits a month and over 30,000 ads. Unfortunately, the website is available only in Danish, but it does feature hundreds of ads in English, indicating a high level of suitability for internationally oriented businesses.
JobNet partners with EURES, the European employment service network, and Work in Denmark, a job board for expats in Denmark. When you post an ad on JobNet, you can choose to have it posted on the aforementioned sites for increased exposure among English speakers residing in Denmark.
Most important of all, all of JobNet’s services are free. Without any costs, you can advertise a vacancy for 8 weeks, browse the CV database, contact candidates, and even request recruiting assistance from one of their local “job centers.” Additionally, you can switch on the CV agent and receive alerts when a new suitable candidate joins the platform.
Given that it’s a free job board, it should be no surprise that JobNet is quite limited in terms of features. There’s no option to boost the visibility of your ads, advertise on social media, or integrate it with your existing ATS.
Another thing to keep in mind is that you’ll be required to provide a CVR—i.e., a Danish business identification number—when signing up, as well as a NemID security number or signature, a widely used log-in solution in Denmark. Those requirements will likely pose a problem for employers with no legal entity in Denmark.
Pros
Cons
One of the most popular local job boards
Entirely free
CV agent alerts for new candidates
Lacks essential job board features
Businesses registered outside of Denmark will likely face issues signing up
#3 Ofir
When it first went live in 1996, Ofir was the first online job portal in Denmark. Nowadays, it has over 500,000 visitors a month and over 30,000 ads. It’s also an attractive option for foreign employers, given that it displays 3,000 ads in English alone. It also has the largest candidate database in the country, with more than 350,000 profiles.
Regarding the pricing, Ofir lets you choose between four plans with varying features and levels of exposure:
Medium—3,495 DKK
Premium—5,495 DKK
Premium Plus—7,995 DKK
Boost—12,490 DKK
Source: Ofir
The most basic, Medium plan is quite generous regarding visibility—your ad will be visible on JobNet, Google for Jobs, and Facebook. You’ll also gain access to the platform’s job agent services to ensure your offer reaches the most qualified candidates in the database. The Premium plan includes everything from the Medium tier, plus Instagram advertising, top positions on the results page, and additional emails for candidates of particular interest.
The Premium Plus plan unlocks LinkedIn advertising, while the most advanced, Boost plan will bring your ad even more exposure on social media. For an additional 795 DKK, you can get assistance from Ofir’s customer center.
Despite having an extensive database, Ofir doesn’t allow employers to access it directly but rather through its job alert system. Other downsides include the lack of ATS integration and alternative language options. Another point to note is that you’ll be asked to input your company’s CVR number when registering.
Pros
Cons
Largest candidate database in the country
Job alerts for suitable candidates
Ad redistribution on Google, JobNet, and social media
No direct access to the candidate database
No free posting
Could be difficult to use for businesses registered outside of Denmark
#4 Jobbank
Jobbank is a job board aimed toward the younger and highly educated population, advertising job opportunities for students, graduates, as well as experienced professionals. It’s part of a network of career portals that also includes Nyuddannet, a job portal for graduates, and Studerendeonline, a job portal for students.
The website has an English version, and about 6,000 out of its 16,000 ads are in English. The most prevalent industries on this board are engineering and tech, which make for about half of all its ads.
Jobbank Pricing and Features
Jobbank offers many pricing plans and add-ons to accommodate all kinds of companies and recruitment processes. To advertise a single vacancy, you can opt for one of the following three plans:
Limited—Free
Basis—1,995 DKK
Premium—4,995 DKK
Source: Jobbank
The free version will get you few features, allowing you to advertise a single vacancy for only two weeks, along with a 3-day approval period, low visibility, and the presence of on-site ads. Upgrading to Basis will bring higher rankings and visibility, same-day approval, branding options, and a slot in Jobbank’s social media alerts (Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn).
To post more ads or unlock some of the other features, such as employer branding, you can opt for one of the subscription plans instead:
Mini—295 DKK a month, one-off payment
Advanced—1,995 DKK per month, paid annually
Pro—2,995 DKK per month, paid annually
Source: Jobbank
The Mini tier will let you test the basic features and post on all three job boards in the network, but your ads will have low visibility. The higher tiers come with benefits such as:
Robot scan services for automatic reposting of ads from your website
Highlighting to make your ad stand out
Employer branding with employee testimonial videos
You can search the CV database with over 7,000 candidates and contact them for free, no matter what plan you opted for.
Jobbank also has a voucher system that will allow you to purchase extra features, such as DirectMail, which sends personalized offers to the most qualified candidates in their talent pool, or the front-page hero banner advertising slot. Each feature is worth a different number of points, and you can buy vouchers equaling 5, 10, or 25 points.
One of the few downsides of Jobbank is that it doesn’t have a candidate management system and doesn’t support ATS integration.
Pros
Cons
Wide range of features and pricing options
Job board and social media distribution
CV database free to use
Free trial
No ATS integration
No candidate management tools
#5 StepStone
StepStone is a well-known name in the global job board industry. Its parent company, the Network, provides online recruitment services in over 140 countries. StepStone Denmark has over 34,000 monthly views and around 700 ads, 150 of which are in English. The website is available in both Danish and English, so international employers will have no issues using it for sourcing candidates.
It’s the go-to job board for high-level and management positions, especially in niches such as finance, accounting, human resources, and project management. To ensure higher exposure of the ads, StepStone partnered with prominent Danish job portals such as Business Danmark, Jobindex, and It Jobbank.
The exact process of posting ads on StepStone is somewhat non-transparent, even after you create an account on the platform. Among the few pieces of information available without contacting StepStone representatives is that the publication of vacancies has to go through StepStone’s customer service team. You’d have to provide them with your job ad in a required format, after which you can expect same-day approval if the request was sent before 3 p.m.
Although the exact price of posting an ad is unavailable beforehand, you can expect 30-day visibility and the option of linking the Apply Now button within the ad with your ATS.
StepStone also offers a custom product for attracting candidates for executive positions called the Executive Package. While its price is available beforehand, there’s no way of finding out what exact features you get without contacting StepStone’s representatives.

You can buy additional features separately, such as customized templates, skyscraper banner ad slots, banner production services, and week-long front-page job advertising. There’s also access to the CV library, though the pricing of this feature is available only upon contact.
Aside from the general non-transparency of both the ad publication process and pricing, StepStone lacks a free trial and social media advertising.
Pros
Cons
Website in English
Reposting on other job boards
Suitable for sourcing candidates for executive positions
Non-transparent pricing and job posting process
No free trial
#6 JobDanmark
JobDanmark has around 20,000 monthly views and about the same number of ads. Currently, it’s available only in Danish and features around 300 ads in English, meaning it’s not as accessible to foreign companies as some other job boards on this list. In addition, a CVR number is required to register for this website.
If you opt for JobDanmark, you’ll be able to choose between four pricing plans:
JobBasic—Free
JobPro—995 DKK per month
JobMatch
Starting—3,495 DKK
Bronze—4,995 DKK
Silver—7,995 DKK
Gold—9,995 DKK
Platinum—14,995 DKK
JobBrand—starts at 4,995 DKK a month
JobBasic will allow you to postone free ad per month. You can also purchase a “highlight” for each ad separately (495 DKK a piece) to make it stand out from the rest. With the JobPro plan, you’ll get unlimited ad posting and unlock all of JobDanmark’s features, including analytics, two highlights, and one annual JobBrand employer branding campaign.
The JobMatch plan focuses on expanding your ad’s reach, allowing you to advertise on Google for Jobs, Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and LinkedIn Ads. The pricing depends on the level of exposure you want to get and the networks you want to get it from. The JobBrand campaign is valid for one to six months and is designed for companies with more extensive recruitment and specific branding needs.
Currently, JobDanmark doesn’t allow access to the candidate database, a feature present on most of the competing job boards. It also doesn’t support ATS integration.
Pros
Cons
Free posting option
Social media advertising
Employer branding
Limited accessibility to foreign businesses
No resume database or ATS integration
