51job’s talent pool consists of over 170 million resumes, while its smart matching technology helps you quickly narrow down your choices. The platform also comes with a candidate management platform that will make candidate sourcing even easier with built-in interviews, multiple user access, and analytics for data-driven decision-making.

Unfortunately, you’ll see the pricing information only after signing up. While 51job has the option to switch the UI language to English, it doesn’t seem to be functioning correctly at the time of writing this review. However, it does feature over 200 ads in English, making it convenient for international employers on the hunt for Chinese candidates.

Although 51job provides all the standard job board features, it’s prominently lacking ATS integration and ad redistribution on social media and other job portals.

#2 Liepin

Liepin has been around for over 12 years and much like 51job, it receives millions of views every month. According to its website, it has over 80 million registered users as of September 2022. Besides its popular web platform, Liepin has a mobile app for easier on-the-go recruiting.

Liepin offers recruiting and headhunting solutions, though their exact differences are unclear. You can post job ads, receive recommendations, or search the platform’s CV database. It also features its own candidate management system with built-in chat, analytics reports, and multi-level collaboration tools.

Moreover, the higher the tier, the more job ads you’ll be able to post and the more resumes you can download. China HR also offers a free trial in case you’d like to give it a go before purchasing. 

As for the disadvantages, China HR currently doesn’t support integration with external applicant tracking systems, and none of the plans include social media advertising. Arguably the most significant shortcoming is that the website is available in Chinese only and that it doesn’t feature any ads in English.
