1) Profession
Profession is the most popular job board in Hungary, with an average of 4 million monthly visits, 1.2 million registered users, and 18,000 active ads. Half of the jobs posted on the platform are in English, signaling a high level of suitability for international employers.
Profession claims to have over 670,000 resumes in its database. Access to that database can be obtained either separately or as part of some of the more expensive pricing tiers.
There are 5 types of ads you can buy on Profession:
Including resume database access: 260,000 HUF + VAT
All ads remain active for 28 days and are distributed on partner websites and in email job alerts sent to users. Each plan includes a free candidate management system (CMS) to facilitate the selection process, making even the basic Start ad quite valuable besides being cost-effective. More expensive options offer increased visibility, with Pro+ ads receiving promotion on social media, as well.
If you choose one of the lower-tier ads and wish to buy access to the resume database, the cost will depend on the number of candidates you wish to contact:
30 candidates for two weeks—69,000 HUF + VAT
60 candidates for two weeks—127,000 HUF + VAT
90 candidates for two weeks—185,000 HUF + VAT
If you’re planning to fill multiple positions and require access to a larger pool of candidates, the prices get higher. The options visible in the image below will grant you month-long access to the resume database:

According to internal survey data, 78% of job vacancies in Hungary are filled through Profession. If you opt for this job board, keep in mind that no free trial or posting is available and that the more affordable packages only grant access to the resume database for 14 days.
Pros
Cons
High visibility of ads
Suitable for international employers
Large resume database
Free CMS
No free options
Access to resume database expires before ads do
2) Jobinfo
Jobinfo is one of the oldest Hungarian job websites. It receives around 90,000 monthly visitors and features over 27,000 job ads. More than 6,000 job offers are in English, although there is no English version of the platform.
Three types of job ads are available:
Basic (for 69,000 HUF)
Normal (for 89,000 HUF)
Premium (for 149,000 HUF)
All job ads are active for 28 days and are sent to relevant jobseekers via newsletters.
Employers can receive a discount of up to 10% when purchasing more job ads, which can be posted within a 12-month time frame.
The Normal ad is the most cost-effective option as it offers automatic refreshment of the job ad (bumping it to the top of the list) and a Facebook recommendation for a price that is only slightly higher than that of the Basic ad. The more expensive Premium ad includes sending a personalized email to relevant jobseekers and publishing the job on job aggregator sites for greater visibility.

While Jobsinfo gives a lot of value for the price, there are no free job posts available and it lacks more advanced job board features, such as resume search and candidate matching.
Pros
Cons
Affordable
Features for improved visibility
Premium ads are redistributed on partner websites and social media
Discounts for posting in bulk
No free ads
No advanced features
3) Jofogas
Jofogas is a highly popular Hungarian classifieds website where you can find ads for a wide range of products and services, including real estate, automobiles, and household items.
The job section of the website attracts 700,000 visits each month and features around 4,000 job ads. However, only a handful are in English, and the site is only available in Hungarian, which might present a problem for recruiters with no knowledge of the local language.
Jofogas offers 3 types of job ads, all active for 90 days:
Start—24,000 HUF + VAT for 1 ad
Basic—74,000 HUF + VAT for 2 ads
Advanced—141,000 HUF + VAT for 3 ads
As is typical for classifieds, the website offers various paid options for enhancing the visibility of the ad. The Basic ad comes with a customizable subpage for your employer profile, while the Advanced ad offers additional features, such as:
Bulk ad import through XML
Email campaigns
Push notifications to relevant users
Facebook promotion
If you need more than one ad and want to maximize visibility, the Advanced ad package may be the best choice, considering its 3-month duration and a relatively low cost per ad.
While Jofogas is a well-regarded website among Hungarians, it was not explicitly designed for finding jobs or candidates. This is especially visible in the lack of recruitment features commonly offered by specialized job boards, such as candidate management tools and access to a resume database.
Additionally, Jofogas is not ideal for attracting English-speaking candidates as it has few ads in English and no English-language website version.
Pros
Cons
Affordable
High visibility of ads
Advanced ads have many valuable features
No advanced recruitment features
Inconvenient for non-Hungarian speaking employers
4) Jobline
With its 230,000 monthly visits and 4,000 job ads, Jobline is a valuable resource for finding qualified candidates in Hungary. It also features an extensive resume database with 280,000 CVs. While its website doesn’t support English, around 700 ads are posted in English, speaking about the platform’s popularity with international employers.
What truly sets this board apart are its pre-selection services for employers. For 124,900 HUF + VAT, the platform will send you a list of candidates filtered based on their resumes, but only after ensuring they are interested in the job. And for 199,000 HUF + VAT, Jobline’s team will conduct telephone interviews with candidates and send you a shortlist with written evaluations.
Standard job ad active for 2 weeks costs 14,900 HUF, while a post active for 4 weeks will set you back 19,900 HUF.
Besides regular ads, you can also opt for some of the 3 available packages:
Basic package (2 weeks for 42,500 HUF / 4 weeks for 59,000 HUF)
Medium package (2 weeks for 58,500 HUF / 4 weeks for 75,000 HUF)
Premium package (2 weeks for 130,000 HUF / 4 weeks for 195,000 HUF)
Ads from all 3 packages are featured in e-mail newsletters sent to jobseekers and shared on partner websites. Also, they are promoted on Facebook (more frequently for the more expensive packages). The premium package also gives you access to the resume database for the duration of the advertisement.

Jobline targets well-educated jobseekers, with 35% having higher education, and is suitable for international organizations looking to attract qualified candidates. However, the best features come at a premium cost, and there is no free trial.
Pros
Cons
Pre-selection services
Variety of pricing options
Qualified candidates for international employers

Advanced features locked behind higher-paid tiers
5) CVonline
CVonline is a well-known resource for finding work and workers in Hungary. Its main selling point is its large and diverse candidate pool, which, together with its 180,000 monthly visits, warrants high exposure.
As for the prices, the platform doesn’t offer free ads and has 3 paid ad options, all active for 30 days:
Basic—34,900 HUF
Premium—109,900 HUF
Master—149,900 HUF
The Basic ad gives access to a candidate tracking system and is sent via job alert emails to over 300,000 jobseekers. The Basic ad also allows you to create a free employer profile with a logo, pictures, and video. Refreshing the ad to move it back on top of the candidates’ search feeds every 7 days will cost you an additional 14,900 HUF + VAT.
For a much higher price, Premium ads are sent by email to a targeted group of relevant jobseekers, and for an even higher price, Master ads are advertised on Facebook, which makes the Basic ad the most cost-effective choice.
For an additional (quite hefty) fee of 209,900 HUF, CVonline offers 4-week access to its database of over 250,000 resumes. Longer access for a custom price can be negotiated with CVonline’s representatives.
CVonline also offers to search the resume database for you and send you a list of pre-selected candidates for 399,000 HUF. Still, these services are more expensive than those offered by local competitors such as Jobline, making the job board generally more suitable for businesses with larger hiring budgets.
Pros
Cons
Variety of advanced features
Valuable basic ad with employer branding options
Large resume database
No free trial
Resume search options expensive and paid for separately
Additional 8 Job Boards in Hungary
If you want to expand your reach in Hungary, consider advertising your vacancy on the following job boards as well:
CPA promotion— the rates depend on the job title, industry condition, and geographic location, and you are charged for every application you receive for a sponsored post
Search function seems buggy; it seems impossible to filter out ads for jobs abroad from ads for jobs in Hungary, so it is unclear what kind of ads dominate
Concierge service is included in Professional and Master packages (writing the ad, notifying the candidates)
Questionable visibility; it does not rank on Similarweb
